Abstract: Compounds of the formula where R1 is iso-alkanoyl, e.g. iso-butyryl or iso-valeryl, are prepared in a manner analogous to that of Specifications 788,384 and 788,390, viz. reacting in pyridine the zinc chloride double salt of leuco-methylene glue with the appropriate iso-alkanoyl chloride in place of the acyl halides of the prior Specification.
