    Abstract: The two way linear actuator has an integral inverter. Retraction of a piston (3) is effected by pressurised fluid entering a cylinder (C3) through an inlet port (P) and interconnecting channel (15). At the end of the forward stroke, the end (10a) of the piston closes a valve (4) normally held open by a soring (4a). It then uncovers a side port (11) in the upper cylinder (C1), allowing pressurised fluid onto the other side of the piston which then returns by differential force. The actuator is reset by internal isolation of the pressurised fluid.

    Abstract: The invention concerns a device allowing, from a differential distributor, the operation of at least one double-acting jack, either conventionally or in differential mode. The device comprises the assembly constituted by a pilot 4 in a chamber 2 connected to the said distributor and by a slider 5 in a bore 3 also connected to the said distributor and defining a section S2, the bottom sections of the said pilot and of the said jack on the one hand being put, by the said distributor, either under pressure or in the emptying state and the section S2 of the said bore and the annular section of the said jack, on the other hand, being put, by the slider 5, either in the emptying state or under pressure. The invention applies in general terms to the control of double- acting jacks.
