Abstract: Se describe la fabricación de materiales expandidos basados en poliéster hechos principalmente de poliéster posconsumo compuestos o previamente limpios aumentando la viscosidad intrínseca (IV) durante un proceso de extrusión. Por la selección cuidadosa de las condiciones y parámetros de procesamiento, es posible obtener el material de espuma de poliéster de baja densidad con una buena estructura celular y bajo condiciones de procesamiento estables.
