    Abstract: For taking samples from a sulphate digester which contains alkaline liquid under pressure, a circuit is provided with a pump from which a branch conduit leads through valves to the bottom of a container for the alkaline liquid. A valve pipe leads downwardly from the top of the container to the atmosphere. There is also an outlet from the container below the top thereof. A sampling vessel is constituted by a pipe which opens at the top at an intermediate point within the container and communicates through a valved pipe with an analysis vessel. A water holder can be used for rinsing the analysis vessel and the container.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for mechanically resetting, by means of a simple manipulation, of an optional number of indicators (3) of the type consisting of an electromagnet (8,8a,9) and an indicating disc (10), said electromagnet comprising a core (8) with a magnetizing winding (9) and pole legs (8a), and said indicating disc (10) comprising a permanent magnet and being rotatable through 180 DEG . The device comprises a rail (1) made of a non-magnetic material and is formed so as to enable a desired number of indicators to be mounted side-by-side. According to the invention the rail (1) is formed with such a profile as to enable a shuttle (2) with a corresponding profile to engage with, be guided by, and slide on the rail (1) in its longitudinal direction. The shuttle (2) is provided with a permanent magnet (11) and pole pieces (12,13) of soft-magnetic material, which are being arrange such as to form a magnetic circuit with the core (8) and the pole legs (8a) of the electromagnet of any indicator when the shuttle take a position above/aside the indicator in question. The rotatable indicating disc (10) ofthe indicator in question is then magnetically influenced to reset to indicate the reset position.
