Abstract: PURPOSE: To multiply the energy of an electron beam and to increase the number of high-frequency windows used for output combination by providing at least one high power resonator and the other resonator as well, and by freely rotating the axis of the electron beam in the vertical direction. CONSTITUTION: An electron e passes through a drift zone 4 along an axis 1 of a horizontal electron beam, and enters a first resonator 6 or a second resonator 7 so that the acceleration is performed. In this case, the drift zone 4 is surrounded with a magnetic shield 5, two mirrors 3a and 3b used as an advance nail group in a control resonator 2. Then, two superconductive coils 8a and 8b respectively accommodated in containers 9a and 9b generate a static magnetic field parallel to the axis 1, and the electron e is forcibly rotated at a corresponding cyclotron frequency. Two mirrors 12a and 12b are installed in the resonator 6, and two mirrors 12c and 12d are installed in the resonator 7. Moreover, the two mirrors 12a and 12b are opposed to each other on a longitudinal axis 10 of the resonator 6, and the two mirrors 12c and 12d are opposed to each other on a longitudinal axis 11 of the resonator 7. As a result, the electron e is driven toward the observer. Thus a number of windows 14a,..., 14d for emitting the electron e can be provided.
