Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide handling for an improved power tool capable of substantially reducing the influence of the physical property of a power supply line and thereby avoiding early fatigue of the power supply line with the adjustment of the radius of curvature of the power supply line. SOLUTION: A supporting device 17 for supporting a flexible power supply line 16 at a supporting point A located a distance from the terminal 15 of the flexible power supply line 16 is mounted on a housing 10, the supporting device 17 being rotationally moved in respect to the housing 10 around a first axis almost corresponding to the longitudinal direction of the flexible power supply line 16 at the terminal 15 of the flexible power supply line 16 and around a second axis perpendicular both to the longitudinal direction of the flexible power supply line 16 and to the first axis at the supporting point A. The flexible power supply line 16 is formed by drawing a sufficient large loops 19 to avoid a harmful and sharp curve between the terminal 15 and the supporting point A.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method to calculate the optimum operation control parameter including the tolerable fastening object accuracy, to increase the speed of the programming, to avoid the recoordination of a fastened screw coupling actually, and to obtain the fastening process having a desired property, during the programming process. SOLUTION: This deciding method comprises; a step to feed a specific operation parameter to a control system, to a parameter 11 proper for a screw coupling, and a power wrench 12 used actually; a step to simulate 14 the screw coupling fastening process mathematically by using the operation control parameter value selected beforehand; and a step to evaluate the result of the fastening process simulated depending on the scheduled evaluation standard. As a result, an adequate operation control parameter value to be used is decided, while fastening the screw coupling of the type used actually.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect grease from high temperature unnecessarily generated by gear teeth by filling grease in a gear chamber in a power tool with an angle drive device. SOLUTION: The angle drive device 13 is provided with a gear chamber 30 storing lubricating grease therein, a pinion 16 connected to a motor 11, and a bevel gear 17 connected to an output shaft. An immovable wall element 24 arranged adjacent to a practical part of teeth of the bevel gear 17 makes most part of lubricating grease in the gear chamber 30 directly contact the teeth of the bevel gear and forms a grease screen. A grease moving element 33 is movably guided along a circle passage formed with a groove 32 on an end wall 31 of the housing 10 below the bevel gear 17. A coupling device 34 is attached to the bevel gear 17 and is combined with the grease moving element 33. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power nut runner provided with a release detection device performing speedy power shut-off start operation and a torque transmission clutch separately. SOLUTION: This power nut runner is provided with housings 11, 12, 13, a rotation motor 10, and an output shaft 28 connected through a torque responsive override clutch 26. A torque is transmitted through cam mechanisms 31, 35, 36 between a drive clutch half 25 and driven clutch halves 27, 30, 39. A spring 32 is arranged such that it biases and displaces either of the first clutch halves 27, 30, 39 toward the other in an engagement direction, a signal emitting release detecting sensor 46. An activation element 40 is arranged such that it stops the contact with the clutch half biased by the spring and reaches an operation position by crossing its stationary low torque position. The clutch half biased by the spring returns rapidly to its engagement position after release operation in the axial direction.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an over-speed safety device for pneumatic pressure rotary motor. SOLUTION: This device has a stator 10 with an air inlet passage 16, a rotor 12, and a speed governor for determining a maximum speed level, and comprises a speed reaction actuator 34 connected to the rotor 12 and a valve 33 shiftable from a normal opening position to a closed position by an actuator 34 if a speed control is defective when the motor speed level exceeds a predetermined maximum level. The actuator 34 comprises a spring biased contact element 48 connected to the rotor 12 and responsive to the action of a centrifugal force. The valve 33 comprises a disk type valve element 36 rotatably supported in an intake passage 16, held in the opening position by one magnet 42, and held in the closed position by the other magnet 43. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power tool which conducts improved lubrication of angle drive gear teeth for automatic repetitive movement of grease present in an angle drive gear chamber. SOLUTION: The angle drive device 13 comprises a gear chamber 30 which houses lubricant grease, a pinion 16 connected to a motor 11 and a bevel gear 17 connected to an output shaft. A stationary wall element 24 arranged near teeth of the bevel gear 17 directly connects a major part of the lubricant grease in the gear chamber 30 to the bevel gear teeth, and forms a grease screen. A grease moving element 33 is guided along a circular path formed by a groove 32 on an end wall 31 of a housing 10 under the bevel gear 17. A coupling device 34 is attached to the bevel gear 17 and is arranged to be joined with the grease moving element 33. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
