Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound generating apparatus and a sound generation space in which a sound for relaxing a person by increasing cerebral blood flows of the person and enhancing the person's state of mind and body is generated. SOLUTION: An audio signal is generated which has a first frequency range beyond a predetermined audible frequency range up to a predetermined maximum frequency, and which is non-stationary so as to be changed in a micro- temporal area in a second frequency range beyond 10 kHz. Then the generated audio signal beyond a cutoff frequency in the second frequency range is passed through a high-pass filter, then is converted into the sound and is applied to the person. Besides, the generated audio signal beyond the cutoff frequency in the second frequency range is passed through a low-pass filter, then is converted into the sound and is applied to the sense of the person. Thus, the cerebral blood flows of the person is increased, a hypersonic effect is caused by using the non-stationary characteristics of the generated sound, and the αwave EEG potential of the brain of the person is increased to reduce the stress of the person.
