    Abstract: A device has a touch screen display configured to display a map application, which is configured to separately display a list of bookmarked locations, a list of recent queries, and a list of contacts. In response to detecting a finger gesture on an input icon associated with a search term input area, the map application displays at least one of the list of bookmarked locations, the list of recent queries, and the list of contacts. In response to detecting a finger gesture on a bookmarked location, an area corresponding to the bookmarked location is displayed on a digital map. In response to detecting a finger gesture on a recent query, one or more results corresponding to the recent query are displayed on a digital map. In response to detecting a finger gesture on a contact, an area associated with the contact is displayed on a digital map.

    Abstract: An electronic device displays a first map view of a map that includes one or more map objects on a touch-sensitive display. While displaying the first map view, the device detects a first gesture of a first gesture type at a first location on the touch-sensitive display. The first location corresponds to a respective map object. In response to detecting the first gesture at the first location, the device enters a map view selection mode. While in the map view selection mode, the device detects a second gesture of a second gesture type at a second location on the touch-sensitive display. The second location corresponds to a respective location on the map. In response to detecting the second gesture at the second location, the device replaces the first map view with a second map view that includes a view of the respective map object from the respective location.

    Abstract: A device with a touch screen display displays an electronic document that includes a respective user input element. The device detects a first input that corresponds to selection of the respective user input element that is displayed with text having a first size. In response to detecting the first input, the device enlarges the respective user input element, moves the respective user input element toward a center of a first portion of the display and displays an input interface for selecting input for the respective user input element in a second portion of the display that is different from the first portion of the display. The input interface includes a plurality of text input choices for entering text that are displayed at a second size larger than the first size. The device uses text that corresponds to a selected text input choice as input for the respective user input element.
