Abstract: A battery electrode matching system includes one or more sensors configured to detect a first characteristic of a first electrode and a second characteristic of a second electrode, one or more signature applicators configured to mark the first electrode with a first signature and the second electrode with a second signature, and memory circuitry. The memory circuitry is configured to store a first profile corresponding to the first electrode, the first profile including first data indicative of the first characteristic and the first signature. The memory circuitry is also configured to store a second profile corresponding to the second electrode, the second profile including second data indicative of the second characteristic and the second signature.
