Abstract: A controller assembly, apparatus, and method of manufacture for a micro-chiller unit is provided. Abstract: A first composition is disclosed that includes a fire-resistant thermoplastic resin. The fire-resistant thermoplastic resin includes 1-20 wt % of an aryl phosphate, includes 1-20 wt % of a phosphate polymer, and 60%-98% of a (meth)acrylic polymer, including units from at least one monomer, wherein the monomer is chosen from methyl methacrylate, acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, acrylic acid esters, methacrylic acid esters, acrylonitrile and maleic anhydride. The first composition may further include a fabric or a composite material that is embedded with the fire-resistant thermoplastic resin. In some instances, the aryl-phosphate and the phosphonate polymer synergistically reduce an effective heat of combustion, a peak heat release, or a flame time as compared to a second composition that contains only one of the aryl phosphate or the phosphonate polymer.

Abstract: A micro-chiller assembly, apparatus and method of manufacture is provided. Abstract: An in-seat mini-bar assembly, apparatus and method of manufacture is provided. The assembly includes a housing that is insertable into a compartment of the seating module and includes a container with an interior cavity that is conductively cooled by thermo-electric elements of a micro-chiller unit mounted on a conductive rear plate that forms an exterior side of the container. A vent is configured proximate to a front section of the housing to receive outside air forward of the housing for channeling the outside air to a rear section of the housing using a duct attached to the vent at the front section. The duct is shaped for a fluidic intake of the outside air by a frontal flange having a wide cross-sectional area that is gradually tapered to a circular cross-sectional area to direct the airflow in a uniform manner.

Abstract: A vehicle panel includes two sidewalls and a resonator disposed between them on one of the cell walls. The resonator includes a network of cells, each cell defines an internal space to absorb and dissipate noise and vibrations within a specific frequency range. Certain cells or subsets of cells may be interconnected to define a larger internal cell space. An airgap between the resonator and one of the sidewalls may be partially or completely filled with dampening material to absorb high frequency noise. The dampening material may also provide thermal insulation.
