Abstract: A ballistic fabric having unidirectional ballistic resistant yarns in at least two layers. The layers are at 90°±5° with respect to each other. The ballistic resistant yarns are stabilized by being woven in a second fabric formed of yarns having a substantially lower tenacity and tensile modulus than the ballistic resistant yarns.
