Abstract: Thermoplastic moulding cpds. contain a mixt. of (A) 97 - 40 p.b.w. of a styrene polymerisate contg. at least 50 wt. % polymerised styrene and which may be rubber-modified to render it impact-resistant, and (B) 3 - 60 p.b.w. of a copolymer of 98 - 50 wt.% styrene and 2 - 50 wt.% of an acrylate with 1 - 20 C-atoms in the alcohol residue. Compsns. have good flow characteristics in processing conditions without "sweatingout" of any lubricant present. Mouldings combine good mech. props. with satisfactory heat-deformation strength.
