Abstract: The continuous band passes in sequence through a print receiving station, a zone of low pressure to remove solvent vapours, and a drying zone, whereafter the band is joined by the web, e.g. textile, to be printed and passes together with the web around a heated drum against which both are pressed and where the print transfer takes place. The pressure is effected by a recirculating felt blanket. After passing a part of the drum periphery the web is wound into a roll while the band passes through a cleaning zone back to the printing zone. Extensive details of the printing ink are given but not claimed.
