Abstract: A solution (I) contains: (A) a salt of a mono or dialkyl ester of a sulfonated dicarboxylic acid; and (B) a solvent having a b.pt. greater than 250 degrees C at 1 bar. An Independent claim is also included for an aqueous polymer dispersion (II) containing the solution (I).
