Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain neopentylglycol hydroxypivalate(NGHP) granules containing no aggregates which hamper measurement and taking out of the granules from a drum. SOLUTION: The granules are obtained by precipitating a melt of NGHP containing lower than 3 wt.%, per total NGPH, of NGHP crystals on a cooling surface as a film, which is solidified and crushed.
