Abstract: In a method of manufacturing ammonium nitrate granules which may contain calcium carbonate and have N contents of at least 25 wt.%, gypsum is added to the mash containing the ammonium nitrate at a temperature of 120 to 160 DEG C and the mixture is set aside for 5 to 20 minutes at this temperature before it is shaped.
