Abstract: The measurement head has a pick-up (2) which can be connected with the measurement part and a signal transducer affected by the pick-up. The transducer consists of a light source and receiver and a reflector (4) directed at them. The pick-up is in the form of a part (6) which influences the light intensity between the source and receiver and the reflector. The light is transmitted and received via a light conductor (LWL) with a lens (5) on its end facing the reflector and connected to the light source and signal receiver via an optical deflector. ADVANTAGE - Measurement head is developed to enable higher measurement accuracy to be achieved than with conventional arrangements.
