Abstract: Thermoplastic blank may be tubular or flat-surfaced, e.g., inflated or deep-drawn, and the change in material distribution is effected in relation to the true length of the emerging blank, which is determined by continuously sensing the end of the blank. The adjustment is pref. brought about by changing the nozzle gap cross-section of the extruder.
