Abstract: The invention relates to wet-strength finishing agents for paper, containing a) between 1 and 99.9 wt. % of a water-soluble polamidoamine which is cross- linked with an epihalohydrin, and b) between 0.1 and 20 wt. % of at least on e other cationic polymer. The invention also relates to a method for producing paper having increased wet-strength, and to the use of said wet-strength finishing agents as additives to the paper stock during the production of paper.
