Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preparing a solvent-free suspension of low- melting point and water-insoluble solid agrochemical active ingredients. SOLUTION: The method for preparing the solvent-free suspension comprises suspending 1-40 wt.% silica-based carrier in 40-97 wt.% water in the presence of 1-40 wt.% anionic dispersant, heating the resultant suspension to a temperature not lower than that of the active ingredient and adding, with stirring, 1-25 wt.% active ingredient with a melting point of ≤80°C or mixture of at least two kinds of active ingredients, where each component of the mixture has a melting point of ≤80°C. A stable concentrated suspension, a water- dispersible powder and water-dispersible particles each using the suspension as a base are each prepared by the method. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
