Abstract: 2-Phenylazo-7-phenylamino sulphonylphenylazo-naphthalene dyes of formula (I) and their salts are new. In (I), D = phenyl, opt. substd. by F, Cl, Br, NO2, CN, 1-4C alkylsulphonyl, 1-8C alkyl, 1-4C alkoxy, COOH, 1-4C alkoxycarbonyl, SO3H, CONH2 (opt. substd. by 1 or 2 1-4C alkyl), COR', SO2NH2 (opt. substd. by 1 or 2 1-4C alkyl) or SO2R'; R' = pyrrolidino, piperidino, morpholino or piperazino (opt. N-substd. by 1-4C alkyl); K = residue of heterocyclic coupler; A and E may be substd. by Me, MeO, Cl or SO3H.
