Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mild process for separating hydrophyte floating on the water surface of a pond, a water tank or a vessel. SOLUTION: This separation process comprises (a) the generation of water flow directing to the collection position on the water surface of a pond, a water tank or a vessel to move floating hydrophyte toward the collection position, (b) the collection of individual hydrophyte from the pond, water tank or vessel with a hydrophilic solid or liquid medium and (c) the transfer of the collected hydrophyte separately into a vessel. The separation and individualization of hydrophyte can be mechanized and/ or automated by this process.
