Abstract: The invention relates to a genetic method for producing riboflavin. The production of riboflavin in organisms is increased by specially selecting genes of the riboflavin biosynthesis or of the combination thereof in organisms, especially in bacteria, fungi, yeasts and plants, and of the expression thereof. The invention also relates to a nucleic acid fragment containing genes with the sequences SEQ ID No. 1, SEQ ID No. 3 or SEQ ID No. 5 or the functional equivalents thereof, to expression vectors containing the nucleic acid fragments, and to organisms containing at least one nucleic acid fragment or at least one vector.
