The shapes and numbers of the elements are selected so that, in addition to greater ease of manufacture, a reliably functioning hinging and limiting device is achieved in several radial positions. The container is particularly suitable for use as a cassette container.

    Abstract: The housing has a base with a rear wall and projecting sidewalls and a hinged cover with side wings which fit over the opposing rear sidewalls of the base. The hinge at either side of the cover employs a central hinge pin (8) fitted into a bore (10) surrounded by a circular projection (9) fitting into a recess (7) around the hinge pin. The hinge pin (8) and the projection (9) and the bore (10) and the recess (7) are concentric, with the radial integral extension of the hinge pin (8) or the projection (9) providing a limit stop for the hinge.
