Abstract: PURPOSE: To prepare a plant growth regulator, capable of manifesting synergistic plant growth regulating actions and variously influencing the whole growth stages of the plant such as a reduction in spindly growth, an improvement in freezing resistance, avoidance of various diseases or an increase in yield. CONSTITUTION: This plant growth regulator comprises a synergistic mixture of (A) an N,N-dimethyl-azabicycloheptanium salt, an N,N-dimethyl-piperidinium salt, an N,N-dimethyl-tetrahydropyridazinium salt, an N,N,N-trimethyl-N-2- chloroethylammonium salt, an N-methyl-pyrrolidinium salt and/or an N,N- dimethyl-pyrrolidinium salt with (B) a compound represented by the formula (R and R are each a 1-4C alkyl or further R is a 3-6C cycloalkyl; R is H, a 1-12C alkyl, a 1-12C alkoxy, a mono- to a di-1-12C alkylamino, phenyl, etc.; R to R are each H, a halogen, a 1-4C alkyl, a 1-4C halogenated alkyl, a 1-4C alkoxy, etc.) and an inert additive and has the above effects.
