Abstract: La invencion se refiere a un reactor para probar sistemas de catalizador, que comprende varios tubos de catalizador (2) colocados en paralelo entre ellos en la camara interna del reactor y cuyos extremos estan soldados en placas de tubo y tiene tambien tapas (3) en cada extremo del reactor que limitan un espacio de tapa (4), con un medio de reaccion fluido (5) alimentado a traves d e un espacio de tapa (4) en los tubos de catalizador (2) . Dicho fluido a traves de los tubos de catalizador (2) y es descargado a traves del otro espacio de tapa (4). El reactor comprende tambien un circuito de agente de intercambio de calor con el suministro de agente de intercambio de calor (6) en un extremo del reactor. Dicho agente fluye en el espacio intermedio entre los tubos de catalizador (2), y se descarga en el otro extremo del reactor, en donde los tubos de catalizador : (2) estan colocados en por lo menos dos regiones de tubos de catalizador termicamente separadas entre ellas.

Abstract: A process is described for producing a catalyst for gas-phase oxidations, in which a suspension of TiO2 and V2O5 particles is applied to a fluidized inert support, wherein at least 90% by volume of the V2O5 particles have a diameter of 20 mum or less and at least 95% by volume of the V2O5 particles have a diameter of 30 mum or less. The defined particle size distribution of the V2O5 allows a high coating efficiency.
