Abstract: Microcapsule dispersion contains (a) the microcapsule, (b) an inorganic protective colloid; and (c) 0.1-15 wt.% (based on solid content of the dispersion) of a water-soluble low mol. wt. salt which dissociates easily. Component (b) is partially or totally neutralised polymerisate of an unsatd. carboxylic acid and, opt., other monomers. Component (c) is a water soluble ammonium- or alkali(ne earth) salt of a strong acid. USE/ADVANTAGE - The dispersions can contain dyes, detergents, printing inks, perfumes, adhesives, medicaments, agrochemicals, fertilisers, fats, oils, nutrients, enzymes, liquid crystals, colourants, rust protectants, indicators, catalysts, chemical reactants and magnetic substances.
