Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a herbicide, comprising a cyclohexenone derivative used in combination with a naphthalene derivative having antagonistic actions and capable of mitigating or completely suppressing damage to useful crops due to the cyclohexenone herbicide. CONSTITUTION: This herbicide comprises (A) a compound represented by formula I [R is a (halogenated)alkyl, an alkylthio, an alkoxy, a halogen, OH or NO2 ; (m) is 0-3; R is CH, C(NH2 )NOH, C(Z)TR (Z is O or S; T is O or NR ; R is H, an alkyl, phenyl or benzyl), a CO-azole or a group represented by formula II (R is phenyl), etc.; R is a halogen, N=CHR , COOR or OH (R is H, an alkyl or phenyl), etc.] as an antidote and (B) a compound represented by formula III [R is an alkyl; A is an alkylene or an alkenylene; X is H, NO2 , CN, a halogen, an alkyl, an alkoxy, phenyl, etc.; (n) is 1-3; R is an alkoxyalkyl, an alkylthioalkyl, a 5-membered saturated heterocyclic group, etc.] as a herbicidal agent.
