Abstract: The belt of woven fabric, to which liquid to be filtered is admitted in the upper run and which subsequently passes through cleaning and drying devices, has bead-like reinforced edges. These reinforced edges are guided, in the range of the upper run, between guide pulleys which displace the edges towards the longitudinal axis of the belt which thus obtain a trough-like shape.
