Abstract: Inhalation apparatus for test animals for investigating the biological effect of substances mixed with respiratory air. It comprises a distributor chamber which is connected to a respiratory air preparation unit and has several openings, animal tubes connected to the openings and suction devices, connected to a disposal system, for removing the waste air. Each transition piece between the head and trunk of the animal tubes has holes connecting the animal tubes inserted into the apparatus to the suction devices.
