Abstract: Method for purifying a waste gas containing one or more vaporous organic compounds in addition to an inert gas or inert gas mixture involves absorbing the vaporous organic compounds in one or more jet nozzle absorbers. An Independent claim is included for a device for carrying out the method comprising a jet nozzle absorber having one or more jet nozzles (B) arranged upstream of a bubble column (A).
