A mounting frame for transparencies consists of two identically shaped frame halves 1, one side edge of each half being provided with a flange 9 which, when the two halves are joined together, extends over the corresponding side edge of the other frame half. The two halves are joined together by a press fit with projections 2 on each half mating with corresponding recesses 4 on the other half.
