Abstract: Prodn. of polymer particles comprises: (a) polymerising monomer(s) (I) in the presence of block copolymer and/or graft copolymer in an organic dispersant which does not dissolve the polymer to be prepd.; and (b) free radical polymerisation of monomer(s) (II) once or repeatedly in the presence of the resultant polymer. Also claimed are the polymer particles produced, which have a core of (I) polymer and shell(s) of (II) polymer.
