Abstract: The invention relates to a process for the continuous preparation of polyarylamines which have methylene bridges and a high content of diaminodiarylmethane isomers, by condensing primary arylamines with formaldehyde in the presence of acidic catalysts, where the components are preferably mixed in a stirred vessel at temperatures of up to 50 DEG C, and the reaction mixture is subsequently reacted in a tube reactor under plug flow conditions and a continuously increased temperature from 50 DEG C up to 90-100 DEG C.
