Abstract: 1307309 Isomerizing C 9-22 olefins BADISCHE ANILIN- & SODA-FABRIK AG 10 July 1970 [12 July 1969] 33591/70 Heading C5E C 9-22 alpha-olefins are isomerized to alter the position of the double bond without altering the carbon chain structure by contact in the liquid phase at 160-320‹ C. with a boron phosphate catalyst having a weight ratio of B : P in the range 1 : 3À0 to 1 : 3À29. The catalyst may be used with a carrier, e.g. pumice, alumina, silica gel or diatomaceous earth.
