Abstract: Molding materials based on mixtures of (A) from 20 to 50 parts by weight of asphalt which has a penetration at 25.degree.C of from 3 to 100 according to DIN 1995, (B) from 20 to 50 parts by weight of a copolymer of from 97 to 80% by weight of ethylene and from 3 to 20% by weight of a C4-C10-.alpha.-olefin, which has a density of from 0.89 to 0.93 g/cm3 and a crystallite melting point of from 115 to 125.degree.C, carbon black, glycerol monostearate and conventional fillers in the usual amounts are used for the production of moldings, in particular sealing sheets for building construction and civil engineering.
