Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for reacting thermoplastic polyurethanes (i) with compounds containing isocyanate groups (ii), wherein compounds (iia) containing at least three aliphatic isocyanate-based groups and compounds (iib) containing two aromatic isocyanate-based groups are used in the form of the compounds (ii) containing isocyanate groups.
Abstract:
A thermoplastic polyurethane (I) contains organo-silicon groups that are bonded to the polyurethane by two urea groups such that no allophanate or urethane groups are between the urea groups. Independent claims are included for: (1) a process for the production of the organosilicon modified polyurethane (I) by addition of silane compounds having two amine groups during the production of the thermoplastic polyurethane and; (2) fibers and cable sheathing prepared using the polyurethane (I).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a process for reacting (i) thermoplastic polyurethanes with (ii) compounds having isocyanate groups, where the (ii) compounds used having isocyanate groups comprise (iia) compounds having at least three isocyanate groups based on aliphatic isocyanates and (iib) compounds having two isocyanate groups based on aromatic isocyanates.
Abstract:
Item comprising a first transparent thermoplastic (i) coated with a coating (ii) comprising at least one organosilicon compound, wherein, on at least one portion of the surface, on the side facing away from the first plastic (i), the coating (ii) has been adhesive-bonded, without chemical adhesion promoter, to a second thermoplastic (iii).
Abstract:
Item comprising glass, wherein at least one portion of the surface of the glass has been adhesive-bonded to a thermoplastic polyurethane without any chemical adhesion promoter.
Abstract:
Article (A), free of any chemical adhesion mediator, comprises adherently bonded thermoplastic polyurethane (PU) and polypropylene (PP). An independent claim is included for preparation of (A) by plasma treatment of the surface of a PP article then contacting this surface with PU.
Abstract:
A thermoplastic polyurethane (I) is based on polyisocyanates having at least one organosilicon group (silane). Independent claims are included for: (1) a process for the production of the modified polyurethane (I) by addition of polyisocyanates having at least one silane group; (2) cable sheathing, fibers or tubing prepared from the thermoplastic polyurethane (I).
