Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a cosmetic and pharmaceutical composition difficult to rinse away. CONSTITUTION: The cosmetic and pharmaceutical composition comprises a copolymer selectively hydrogenated in olefin double bond and composed of (A) 50-65wt.% styrene, (B) 35-50wt.% butadiene and (C) 0-5wt.% copolymerizable monomer. Since the cosmetic and pharmaceutical composition is difficult to re-rinse away with pure water or water containing a surfactant, the composition can apply sufficient treatment, care or protecting action to skin.
