Abstract: Fungicides esp. useful as seed dressings for cereals contain a mixture of (a) 2-(thiocyanomethylthio)-benzthiazole (I) and (b) a cpd. of formula (II): (where R is phenyl or cyclohexyl and R1 + R2 is (CH2)3, -CH=C(CH3)-, -CH2CH2S- or -CH2CH2SO2-). They are esp. active against Fusarium nivale Helminthosporium gramineum, Ustilago spp. and Tilletia tritici, and the fungicidal activity is substantially greater than would be expected by simple addn. of the activities of (I) and (II).
