Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a stable aqueous solubilizate produced under the aid of a nonionic emulsifier and suitable for the application of carotenoids and vitamins to extra-intestinal sites. SOLUTION: This stable aqueous solubilizate contains carotenoids and water- insoluble vitamins dissolved in a micelle-like state (smaller than 100nm) under the aid of a nonionic emulsifier and is suitable for the application of the carotenoids and the vitamins or vitamin derivatives to extra-intenstinal sites. Therein, the solubilizate contains at least one of the carotenoids, the water- insoluble, lipophilic vitamins or vitamin derivatives and the nonionic emulsifier in concentrations of 0.1-10wt.%, 0.1-20wt.%, 0.1-20wt.% and 1-40wt.%, respectively, wherein the content of the lipophilic vitamins is at least the same as that of the carotenoids.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To make operation to fix an electrode onto a skin surface unnecessary and to protect skin from a burn by painless action of electric current, by composing plaster by a conductive layer with a connecting piece to connect to a power source and a layer impregnated by a active substance and constitution the conductive layer by a flexible synthetic resin. CONSTITUTION: A film, fabric of fleece made of a conductive polymer can be used for absorption of solution or gel containing an active substance in itself. Monomers suitable for preparing the conductive polymer are preferably five member heterocyclic compounds such as pyrrol and its derivatives. This kind of derivatives are the five member compound whose hydrogen of the third and/or fourth position are substituted by C1-C12 alkyl groups, preferably methyl, ethyl or propyl groups and Cl, CN, COOH, and SO3 H. Other preferable examples are thiophene other than pyrrol. Instead of the five member ring, five member ring oligomers such as dipyrrol, dithienyl and trithienyl can also be used. The film can be formed into, for example, a shape of a finger sack, a joint bandage or a sock to fit for a body shape.
