    Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain readily dispersible pigment granules with small inclusion of dust by dispersing, in an aqueous suspension of the pigment, a gas which does not react with the suspension in fine bubbles and converting the resulting pigment suspension into pigment granules through spray drying, mechanical removal of a liquid, shaping of a pigment cake or the like. CONSTITUTION: In an aqueous suspension of a pigment, under vigorous stirring, a gas which does not react with the suspension is dispersed in fine bubbles essentially without additional pressure. Then the resulting pigment suspension is converted into pigment granules by spray drying or by mechanical removal of a liquid, shaping of a moist pigment cake and subsequent drying. In this case, air or the like is used as the gas which does not react with the suspension. Readily dispersible pigment granules of all organic and inorganic pigments are produced thereby. Besides the pigment granules with small inclusion of dust and yet simply dispersible are produced with ease.
