Abstract: Procedimiento para el teñido discontinuo de material textil que contiene celulosa con indigo según el procedimiento por agotamiento, aplicándose sobre el material textil el índigo reducido de un baño acuoso de teñido, que contiene agente reductor, álcali, y adicionamente otra sal metálica alcalina disuelta en una concentración de 200 a 350 g/1 como electrólito, y cuyo valor de pH está ajustado a 10,2 hasta 11,3, oxidándose de nuevo el índigo reducido fijado sobre la fibra para dar pigmento bajo mantenimiento de la concentración elevada de electrólito, y acabándose el teñido de la manera habitual.

Abstract: The disclosure is a process for batchwise dyeing of cellulosic textile material with indigo by the exhaust method, which comprises applying the reduced indigo to the textile material from an aqueous dyeing liquor which includes a reductant, an alkali and additionally a further dissolved alkali metal salt in a concentration of from 200 to 350 g/l as electrolyte and whose pH has been set to 10.2-11.3, oxidizing the reduced indigo on the fiber back to the pigment while maintaining the high electrolyte concentration, and finishing the dyeing in a conventional manner.
