    Abstract: PURPOSE: To economically manufacture the reel pressing spring by suppressing a material loss to the utmost, as well as simplifying a tool. CONSTITUTION: Strip spring steel 73 having a width corresponding to the reel pressing spring 56 to be manufactured is delivered into a cutting position by a grip 74. The strip spring steel 73 is cut by a cutting die 77 into a circular- arcuate or rectilinear shape as an end part of the reel pressing spring, and also arms 56a and 56b are formed with a curved surface with its middle part bendwise formed with a projecting U-shaped bent part 62 as a fitting device.

    Abstract: A guide device for tape-like recording media, especially a reversing guide device for magnetic tapes, that are transported at high speed, which comprises at least one guide roll, around whose periphery the recording medium is guided, and which is rotatably mounted in bearings, a deliberate specific braking torque being produced between the guide roll and its bearings. Further embodiments concern the roughness of the roll's peripheral surface, the design of flanges for the lateral guidance of the recording medium and the use of two guide rolls. The braking torque is produced by braking means acting on the guide roll. The novel guide device can be used advantageously in any high-speed magnetic tape transport apparatus for the recording/reproduction of any type of audio, video or data signal.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To simplify a clamp process by bringing one face of a tape into pressure-contact with a tape clamp and protruding an upper end part of the tape clamp above a profile like circular arc of a reel core by a thickness of the tape. CONSTITUTION: A tape clamp P has circular arc-like projections 21, 22, and the projections 21, 22 extend the clamp across legs 9 and 10 and have a fixed height(h). When a mounting tape or a leader tape is fixed between a step 23 and the projection 22 or 21, end fringes of respective projections are above an end part of a cutout part 15 by a thickness D of the tape. The height X of the legs 9, 10 in a W-shaped part is the same dimension as a depth of the cutout part 15 when measured from a peripheral fringe of a reel core 20. The tape locked in the tape clamp P is between a leg 11 and a bottom part of the cutout part 15. Consequently, the tape comes into contact with one side of the clamp only, and a part of the clamp sticks out from the cutout part 15 by the thickness D of the tape. Therefore, an outer face in a tape part coming out of the cutout part 15 is just at a level of a peripheral face of the tape clamp P.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To improve a package container and to economically manufacture the same by providing a bottom and a lid part with substantially the same tooth edges, continuously mounting the vertical tooth parts around the container, and forming the lateral tooth parts in the radial direction of the container. CONSTITUTION: A bottom and a lid part 12 are provided with substantially the same tooth edges, the vertical tooth parts 7A, 7B are continuously mounted around a container, and the lateral tooth parts 17, 18 exist in the radial direction of the container 5. To satisfy the purpose, the maximum tooth height of the vertical tooth parts 7A, 7B is almost equal to an inside height (h) of the container, so that the recording carrier can suitably be grasped from the periphery. The lateral tooth parts 17-21 are continuously formed over the entire periphery, and extended almost all over the periphery. Whereby a package container can be improved and economically manufactured.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To prevent insertion of a container portion that forms a parting line from the beginning by letting a front edge of the pocket front wall and a long notched edge of the bottom wall that form a parting line disposed at the position where the parting line is arranged on a cassette portion with raised height when closing the container with respect to the cassette to be contained. CONSTITUTION: A parting line 15 linearly extending from end to end is disposed in a range above a raised part 7 of a cassette 6. The raised part of the cassette 6 has width of c, distance from the interior of the pocket bottom wall 17 to the parting line 15 is b, and it is enough to select b>c for satisfying this constitution. Due to this, the path b that can be used to push in a half of the container is largely restricted, and both edges 13 and 14 evenly yield by a nearly equal amount up to the raised part 7, so the edges 13 and 14 of the container 16 never mutually insert nor be locked as they are.
