Abstract: The process and the device for producing fibre-reinforced thermoplastics in an extruder (1) uses metering devices (6) and (7) for maintaining a constant weight ratio between the thermoplastics and fibre material, the fibre material being measured by means of the device (7) constructed as a weighbridge before it is fed into the extruder and the measured value being used as a setpoint value for the metering device (6). In the case of deviations in the setpoint/actual value comparison, which takes place in a control unit (9), the amount of the thermoplastic fed to the extruder is changed correspondingly.
