Abstract: The invention relates to a surface-active auxiliary for the primary (first, initial) treatment of textile raw materials in liquors having high alkali contents, consisting of incompletely saponified (hydrolysed) coconut or palm kernel oil and an alkylphenol ethoxylate or C9/C13 alcohol ethoxylate, and to the use of incompletely hydrolysed coconut oil together with alkylphenol ethoxylates or C9/C13 alcohol ethoxylate in the treatment of textile raw materials in liquors having high alkali contents.
