Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide a method with low energy consumption and capable of obtaining high productivity by separating plural fractions under mixed condition from bottom and top of column and proceeding batch distillation at downstream. CONSTITUTION: A starting mixture is introduced to a vessel 2 connected to the top of a distillation column 1. And the mixture is supplied to the distillation column 1, evaporating in a evaporator 9 and collecting a low boiling poit fraction rised inside of the evaporator 1 via a condeser 5 and conduit 6 to separate. Then, in a second separation process, as the same, prescribed process, a middle boiling point component is separated from a mixture collected in a vessel 7 into the vessel 2, and a high boiling poit component is remained in the vessel 7. According to the above procedure energy consumptions used for heating the lower boiling point component are substantially reduced.
