Abstract: Preparation of N-alkyl-substituted amino-alkynes of formula R1-C IDENTICAL C-CR2R3-NR4R5 comprises the heterogeneous reaction of an alkyne of formula R1-C IDENTICAL CH, a carbonyl compound of formula R2R3C=O and an amine of formula R4-NH-R5 using an unsupported copper catalyst derived from malachite.
