Abstract: In magnetic-tape cassettes, anti-friction liners are arranged between the magnetic tape and the inner surfaces of the cassette housing to improve guidance of the said tape. During cassette assembly, the anti-friction liner (2) is held securely against the lower or upper part (1) of the cassette with the aid of electrostatic charges in order to avoid any displacing of the anti-friction liner during further assembly steps.
