Apparatus for cutting sheeting, e.g. plastics film comprises cutter wheels 3 mounted loosely on a guide shaft 1 so as to be capable of rotational and axial movement and cutter wheels 5 mounted on a driven shaft 4, with the interposition of rubber spacers 7, the wheels 5 and spacers 7 being pressed together by means of a nut 10. In a modification, the wheels (3, Fig. 2) are secured loosely on the shaft (1) in hubs (13) by means of discs (14) and tension rings (15).
