Abstract: An electrical energy source (E) is provided for the drive motor, which provides an alternating voltage which is transformed by a phase control circuit (P) and an impulse generator (I) into an impulse-form alternating voltage, the frequency and the negative and positive amplitudes of which are adjustable independently from one another. The electrical energy source (E) consists of an alternating voltage source (G) to which is connected to power part (L) which supplies the motor, the two push-pull power switches (Th) being controllable by a control part (ZG1,ZG2) of the phase control circuit(P). The two control parts are alternatively activatable by an adjustable impulse generator (I) synchronisable with the alternating voltage of the source (G). USE - For welding thermoplastic materials in particular, to prevent components welding together due to heat generated through friction.
